Are your products Organic?


All our products contain Organic and Natural ingredients. H&Ko products are Australian Certified Organic (ACO) and proudly carry the bud logo

How are H&Ko products preserved? 


Our products contain natural preservatives that are 100% safe for consumers. All our products are stability tested.

Are your products good for the environment? 


All our products are Carbon Neutral Manufactured. We also pay great detail to ensure our packaging is sustainable. Our shipping boxes, Miron Glass bottles and promotional materials are recyclable, reusable and/or biodegradable. 

How long will my H&Ko products stay fresh?

We recommend using our oil-based products (Hero) within 12 months after opening. (Unopened oil-based products will last up to 18 months if stored properly.)

What is the best way to store my H&Ko products?

Store H&Ko products in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight, heat, humidity and excess moisture. Our Miron Violet Glass bottles provide the perfect environment for our formulations filtering out harmful UV rays which lessen the life and activeness of the ingredients.

Are H&Ko products non-comedogenic?

“Comedogenic” refers to ingredients in beauty products that clog the pores and can cause blackheads, pimples or cosmetic-related acne. We do not use any ingredients that are known to be comedogenic. However, individual allergies and sensitivities can cause irritation and breakouts so we always suggest doing a patch test prior to using any product. Place a small amount on the inside of the wrist or inner thigh and look for a reaction. If any redness or irritation occurs, stop using the product immediately.

Are H&Ko products hypollergenic?

All topical allergies are unique to the individual. A product that may work beautifully for one person can irritate another. We always recommend doing a patch test prior to using any product. Place a small amount on the inside of the wrist or inner thigh and look for a reaction. If any redness or irritation occurs, stop using the product immediately.

Which H&Ko products can vegans use?  

None of our products contain any animal ingredients or by-products and are vegan-friendly.

Are H&Ko products safe for pregnant women to use?

Our Australian Certified Organic products, all natural, gentle and effective for all skin. However, we recommend that any expectant mother check with her medical practitioner or decide for herself. We understand that many women seek alternatives to botanically rich products during pregnancy; however, to our knowledge there is no risk associated with using any H&Ko formulation in the manner we prescribe during pregnancy.

How do I read an ingredients label?

Mandatory standard for ingredient labelling - All suppliers – including manufacturers, importers, distributors and retailers – must comply with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission's (ACCC) mandatory standard for ingredient labelling on cosmetics.

Under the Australian Consumer Law, the ACCC can also take action against misleading or deceptive claims on cosmetic product labels.

The label is the best place to find accurate information about a product. Our product label lists ingredients from the highest concentration to the lowest along with the the INCI Names of each Cosmetic Ingredient (International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients)

Are H&Ko products gluten-free?

Yes but we recommend if you have sensitivities, we suggest doing a patch test prior to using any product by placing a small amount on the inside of the wrist or inner thigh and look for a reaction. If any redness or irritation occurs, stop using the product immediately.

Are H&Ko products GMO free?

Yes, ACO prohibits the use of GMO ingredients and our products proudly bear the ACO logo

Do you have a sunscreen?

No, we do not have an SPF product, though we plan to in the future. 

Do you test on Animals? 

H&Ko does NOT conduct product or ingredient tests of any kind on animals. ACO prohibits the practice of animal testing for raw materials or finished products and our products proudly bear the ACO Logo.

Can Men use H&Ko products?

Absolutely! H&Ko are formulated to be a non-gender specific skincare brand; skin is skin regardless of gender or race. We like to keep things simple. We do not believe in the common (industry created) 'need' for multiple products for multiple 'skin types'

  • We like to keep things real and simple.
  • Minimal products with maximum uses and benefits
  • Minimal packaging, minimal wastage, biodegradable and recyclable packaging & bottles

Do H&Ko offer free samples?

H&Ko is crafted in small micro-batches to maintain the integrity of our ingredients and ensure you receive the highest quality product. This artisanal approach, along with our commitment to ACO environmental guidelines, does not support sample sizes. 

What ingredients do H&Ko use?

It is our ongoing commitment that no harsh or detrimental ingredients are used. A full list of all ingredients used in H&Ko products can be found here - ingredients 

Will the plant extracts or the oils in  H&Ko products make my skin oily?

Botanical oils closely resemble human skin in terms of their physical and chemical composition. This means formulations containing these extracts are easily absorbed by the skin.
 There are two key types of plant extracts we use in our products:

  • Steam and
  • CO2 extracted oils

Oils obtained by these methods are light and greaseless (and more volatile) when compared to synthetic mineral oils.

Do your products contain Palm Oil?

No, we have sourced ingredients that are palm oil free.

Do H&Ko products contain synthetic fragrances?

We are entirely synthetic fragrance free, we use a few select essential oils not for fragrance but skin care properties.

POLICIES

Returns + Exchanges

Should you make an error when ordering online, H&Ko will gladly exchange your item for the item you intended to purchase. The returned item must be unopened and in its original saleable condition.
We advise you must inform us of this within 24 hours of receiving your goods and in writing via by email to: love@humanandkindorganics.com
You are responsible for the shipping and additional postage charges.

Damaged Items

We make every effort to ensure that your purchase arrives to you in perfect condition. Should you experience a problem with your order, please contact us at love@humanandkindorganics.com and we will do our utmost to resolve any issue.
Should you wish to make a claim relating to your product for (1) damaged in transport or (2) incorrect goods received. We advise this must be done within 24 hours of receiving your goods by email.

Payment Methods

H&Ko accepts PayPal for all online transactions

We use PayPal because we believe it to be a very safe way to buy goods online. And it’s easy! You do not have to have a PayPal account or log-in to anything to process your order. Simply follow the instructions on the checkout page. PayPal is an international secure payment service used by millions of people every day for purchasing goods online.
You may pay for your purchases using any major credit card including Visa, MasterCard or American Express and you will receive confirmation of payment via email.

Payment by Bank Transfer

Should you wish to do so, we are also able to accept payment via direct bank transfer, but goods will not be dispatched until funds are received. If you select bank transfer at checkout H&Ko account details will appear. When making payment via Bank transfer for an order from the online store please leave your order number and name as the reference.

Processing your order

We try to process all orders within 48hrs of receiving them during business hours, however there are occasions where this will vary. If your order is urgent please contact us to let us know at love@humanandkindorganics.com stating your name and order number, we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Pricing

All pricing is displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) inclusive of GST (Goods and Services Tax). In the interest of fairness to consumers and retailers our products are set at recommended retail pricing. Prices and products are subject to change at any time without notice.

Order Status

After choosing to place an order with H&Ko, we implement the following shipping process:

  1. You shall receive an initial confirmation email that your order has been received and is being packed.
  2. When goods are dispatched you shall receive an email confirming your delivery has been successfully shipped.
  3. Goods shall be packaged to prevent product damage during transport.

Shipping 

We provide FREE DELIVERY on all Australian orders. Your goods will be shipped via Australia post parcel package - Standard Australia post parcel satchel (3-5 days)

International Shipping rates are calculated at check-out.
